We help support all home and away matches as often as we can. We also help by providing volunteers for the Spartan Classic help on January 11, 2020.

Former Superior Senior High School wrestling coach Mike Bredeck was recently inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, Minnesota Chapter for Lifetime Service to Wrestling. A 1971 graduate of St. Cloud State, Mike began his teaching and coaching career at SSHS during the 1971-72 school year. The following year he moved on to a very successful 25 year coaching career at Madison, Minnesota. From 1980 to 1987, his teams never lost a dual meet or tournament in District 11 or the Little North Conference. A Viet Nam veteran, Coach Bredeck was inducted into Dave Bartelma Minnesota Wrestling Hall of Fame in 1995. He is a member of the American Legion Minnesota Boys State staff for 19 years. He also served on the National Committee on Education. Mike ran for the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2006 and 2008. He is currently a Sales Representative for State Farm Insurance Company. Married for 34 years with four daughters, Mike’s name will be added to the Minnesota Chapter wall at the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in Stillwater, Oklahoma. SHS wrestling coach Bill Gedde was on Coach Bredeck’s first ever team in 1971-1972. Coach Gedde was in attendance in Austin, MN for the induction ceremony. “It was a great honor for me to be invited to Mike’s induction into the National Hall of Fame.”
